The Society of Women Engineers is an organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders.

SWE offers a variety of opportunities to network with professionals and other students, build resumes, learn proper etiquette, socialize and become part of the engineering community.

With a variety of on and off-campus activities, New Paltz SWE has brought together both men and women to pursue one common goal: the advocacy and support of women in the science, technology and engineering fields.
